PSU plays 2nd Fiddle within the Big 10 Conference

Overall and Non-Conference records include bowls.

• Only two teams with losing records in non-conference play (MSU and Illinois). Take away Mich St.'s awful bowl showings (they're 0-3) and they've played .500 ball non-conference. Illinois is only one game under .500. So, overall the conference has been pretty strong non-conference. Even some of the lesser teams have pretty good records out of conference.

• PSU and OSU have definately set the mark for the conference. Both in in-conference and out-of-conference, there two teams have performed well consistently.

• However much people want to condemn our out of conference scheduling as weak, we haven't lost in any of those games. And that includes a perfect 4-0 bowl game record.
